Here is a collection of photos taken during an unexpected layover in Panama, as a result of a flight delay that resulted in missing the connecting flight back to Buenos Aires. This gave me a full morning to return to the wonderful Parque Municipal Metropolitano, whichI had visited in a rush back in 2005. Not being familiar with the bird calls, I was very limited at locating and identifying birds. Due to the late arrival I had not been able to arrange a guide, which would have vastly improved the outcome, considering it's a site where 400 species have been recorded. But then, it was more fun to locate by myself the things I did see.
